'A healthy body houses a healthy mind'.

SRVN School fully believes in this maxim hence ample resources have been made available for the physical fitness of the students.

The School campus houses a wide range of well designed sporting arenas covering Basket ball, Badminton, Cricket, Kho-kho, Kabadi.

Students are also initiated into indoor sports such as Chess, Table tennis, Carrom.

Sports and Games "break the weak and exposes the strong"

Hence games and physical education periods are made compulsory for all students and in SRVN school allocating 2 periods per week from class 1 to 10th.

Sports activities relavant to the age group are planned and conducted throughout the academic session.

  1. Sweat, Strength and Sportsmenship of students were put to test by SRVN during annual sports meet 2019 held on --------------- of 2019 in the school play ground.
  2. Each student had got the opportunities to participate in 2 to 3 events which helped them to inculcate the qualities of leadership courage, cooperation, understanding time management, discipline, sense of humour etc.
  3. We are very proud the way that all our students conducted themselves and competed during each and every event.
  4. Winners were felicitated with medals, trophies and cerficates.

The Committee aims:

  • To overall development of sports and games facilities in SRVN School.
  • To prepare and submit a calendar of sports activities before April.
  • To ensure that necessary materials required for school are procured as per norms and maintained.
  • To ensure the timely conduct of inter house competitions and being conducted for different houses / and prizes distributed in time.
  • To ensure maximum participation of the students in various games and sports activities.
  • To ensure that competitions in the primary sections are being conducted as per the guidelines of the CBSE and requirement of common minimum programme attained.
  • To train students for competitions including regional / zonal / national level competitions including outside competitions.
  • To give theoretical aspects of games and sports as per syllabus.
  • To maintain over all discipline in the school.
  • To maintain the play ground effectively.
  • To arrange sports meet and to plan and conduct Annual sports day celebrations in alternate years.
